The 12 products in this department cover two jobs that look similar but ask for different things from a pad. It helps to split them that way before you pick a size.

Changing pads are the smaller ones, 17 by 13 inches. We make these for single changes on an infant or adult. They fit on a portable mat, a couch arm, or the back seat of a car. The 100-count pack runs out at about the rate a household with one person in protection goes through them. If you are covering a bed, a chair, or a large dog crate overnight, these will not give you enough coverage. You want an underpad instead.

Underpads come in two widths here. The 17 by 24 inch size works for a twin bed, a recliner, or a wheelchair seat. Lay it down, and it stays put through the night without bunching up into a ridge down the middle. For a full bed, a sofa, or a whelping box where puppies pile against one side, the 23 by 36 inch pad covers more ground in one sheet so you do not have to overlap two smaller ones.

Pack size is where most people decide between the 50-count, 100-count, and 200-count options. A 50-count case lasts about seven weeks for one person changing the pad once a day. Double that use, or add a second person or a large pet, and the 200-count pack costs less per pad and you order less often. The trade-off is storage. Two hundred pads take up a closet shelf. If you have room for it, the bulk case is the cheaper way to buy them. If you do not, start with 100.

What this department is not: a medical supply. We do not make catheter bags, adhesive barriers, or skin creams. We also do not make puppy pee pads in scents or attractants. These are plain absorbent layers with a waterproof PET backing. They soak up liquid and keep it off what is underneath. That is the whole job they were designed to do.
